Corrupt microchips no longer create false duplicates

  • The duplicate finder used to match dogs that shared a corrupt microchip value (e.g. just “ABC” — a real microchip is a 15-digit number). It now ignores implausible microchips (fewer than 9 digits), so those false matches are gone.
  • Corrupt microchips are surfaced on the Integrity page (new “Bad microchip” flag), and the steward Bulk tool can now filter dogs by microchip — including an “is implausible (corrupt)” filter — and set the microchip to a value or clear it, so you can fix a whole batch at once (audited + undoable from Jobs).

Mobile polish

  • More of the app behaves on a phone: wide tables (like the audit log) now scroll sideways instead of overflowing, the “add a dog” form stacks to one column on narrow screens, the breed name in the header no longer crowds the top bar, and the kennel-admin controls fit small screens.

Clearer import progress — “Imported N”

  • While an import connector (e.g. SKK) is running, the progress now reads “Imported X of Y new dogs” instead of an ambiguous scanned-count, and the detail-fetch step is labelled separately. The finished run and the breed's Imports card both lead with how many new dogs were actually imported.
